Shannon M. Draughon

I was one of those people that went to law school to save the world. Turns out, not so easy…so every day I am trying to help someone, chipping away I suppose, at the larger mission.

Bound to an insatiable curiosity and inordinate work ethic my career has been an exploration of professional education, legal, and commercial practice areas.

As a teacher, professor, advanced scuba instructor and corporate trainer, I have taught a broad base of student groups, in a myriad of environments around the world connecting people and subject matter in course changing ways.

My legal practice has matured as well, transitioning and growing through criminal and civil trial practice, non-profit work and commercial legal services. I have worked with government, small businesses, large corporations and nonprofit organizations. Currently, I am undertaking advanced alternative dispute resolution certification training in my personal effort to help people stay out of the courts.

However, before all things, I am a grateful mother, wife, daughter and community member. I love God, my family and my country. As an American patriot, and former King County Deputy Prosecutor, I am keenly aware of the contemporary surge in governmental overreach. Consequently, supporting your freedom, in your work and life, is my mission; helping people like you live quality, productive and autonomous lives.
